My Favorite Editing Apps

What draws you to a post, a blog, or an advertisement on social media?  A really great picture, right?!  Thankfully today you don’t have to have a super expensive camera, a degree in photography, or graphic design to have excellent pictures and graphics!   I can say this because I’m not a graphic designer, I have no history in graphic design and what little bit I do, I taught myself! When using my PC, I use PowerPoint (old school, I know) or the website PicMonkey! When I’m on my phone, I use a variety!

Here is my favorite photo & text editing apps!

• Textgram – Super simple to use!  I use this app for making simple text graphics.  Enter your words and then change the background (template), font, font size and color, etc.  You can also add backgrounds, frames, and filters! (Free)
• iWatermark – I protect (from others using them and taking credit for them) my photos  and graphics that I use on social media and my blogs by applying my watermarks with this app!  There is a free version, but it’s totally worth the $1.99 version.
• Instaquote – I use this to create inspirational looking graphics for quotes, etc.  (Free)
• Wordsalad – is a great app to create a word collage.  Enter the words you want to use, edit the colors, shapes, etc. (Free)

  

• BeFunky – This is my favorite photo editing app.  You can edit individual photos or make a collage.  It’s free and you can crop the photos, rotate them, and manually edit the colors, etc by adjusting the exposure, hue, saturation, temperature, etc or you can use their pre-loaded effects (and there are many of them)!  You can also add text to the photo, frames, overlays, stickers, etc.  It’s super easy to learn and does a great job!  (Free)

These are all available for both Android (Google Play store) and Apple (iTunes) devices.  They are all super simple to learn and use as I don’t have a lot of time to teach myself new apps constantly!  They are great, simple, and my go-to graphic apps!  I’m sure you’ll like them too!
