This easy, but homemade chocolate cake is moist, rich, and full of flavor!  You won't find a better recipe for homemade chocolate cake!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspooon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup black coffee

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 cake pan.  In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.  Create a center opening of hte dry ingredients and add all the wet ingredients.  Mix thoroughly.  Bake 35-40 minutes.
