Pat the chicken dry with a tower or paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and spices.
Squeeze the juice of one half of the lemon into the melted spice butter, stirring well.
Using a basting brush, work the entire bowl of spiced butter onto the skin of your chicken, layering it as you go.
Place the other half of the lemon in the cavity of the chicken.
Place the chicken in a roasting pan and bake for 1.5-2 hours at 375 degrees.
