It’s the time of year when bloggers all over and popping up with their “best of” posts and I certainly can’t be left out! The first couple years I blogged, I resisted, but what I found is how handy it is to have my most popular recipes and travel adventures in one place! So, here we are, with my Top Eats of 2018! Did your favorite recipe make the cut?!
Instant Pot Minute Steak
Year after year, this recipe continues to be my most popular, overall! And it definitely is my post popular of recipes! This Instant Pot Minute Steak is not one of my healthy recipes, but it is delicious! And, it’s a solution to a problem. Most people don’t know how to prepare Minute Steak and this recipe solves that in a delicious way!
Pressure Cooker Mexi Pasta
Who knew this recipe would be as popular as it has been when my trusty Tupperware consultant asked me to try and review their Pressure Cooker?! However, this has not only become a hit in my house, but also with all of my followers! Plus, you can grab a review of said pressure cooker and comparison to the ever-popular, Instant Pot.
Chicken Marinade & Roasted Sweet Corn
This recipe for an easy chicken marinade is several years old by now, but it has really seen a resurgence recently! Probably because it’s so dang tasty and versatile! You can also use it on pork chops if you prefer! Add in the roasted sweet corn and you have the idyllic summer meal!
Ground Beef Stroganoff
This one, is definitely the most popular in my house, but also one of them on my blog! In fact, I have a few friends who crave this dish or fix it when they need a comfort food! This from-scratch recipe is ten times better than that which comes from a box! The combination of sour cream and soup plus the beef broth gives it a rich deep flavor. If you make it, I promise it’ll be a favorite in your house too!
Moonshine Margarita
I don’t know if it’s the Moonshine or the Margarita in this recipe, but it’s become quite popular! Well…let’s be honest, it’s both! 🙂 However, this twist on a traditional margarita is not only delicious, but it’s an ode to one of our favorite places in the U.S., Branson! If you ever have the opportunity to visit, make sure to head down to the Branson Landing and visit Smith Creek Moonshine Distillery and grab a jar or two of their Lemon-Lime Moonshine!
Pepper Jack Egg Bake
The best recipes are the ones that come from your mom or your friends mom, right?! This one started as a recipe from one of my college roommates friends and it evolved from there! The pepper jack cheese adds the perfect amount of spice without being too overbearing! Spice up your upcoming Easter brunch with this egg bake!
Beef & Cabbage Skillet
This recipe came about when the egg roll in a bowl recipe became popular, but my hubby not liking Chinese flavors! So, I developed this Beef & Cabbage Skillet. It’s low-carb, protein-packed, and so delicious! Add it to your rotation of healthy recipes after the New Year!
Turkey & Sweet Potato Skillet
I love sweet potatoes in about any way I can get them! And this skillet mixes up super quick, is super flavorful, and delicious! Plus, it’s healthy, so it’s another recipe to add to your healthy meal rotation as you work on your New Years resolution to be healthier!
French Onion Meatballs
Considering this recipe came about by accident and ended up being a huge hit at my family gathering, I love that its become a hit on my blog! This recipe combines beef & pork and a rich gravy sauce for a happy appetizer. You can also serve it over noodles for a delicious supper!
French Onion Pork Burgers
Of all the recipes in this round-up, this is probably my second favorite (behind the Ground Beef Stroganoff)! I developed this delicious recipe from one using ground beef years ago and finally decided to share it! The flavor literally bursts in your mouth with the first bite! And while you could fry this time of year, grilling them and getting a slight char on them is the icing on the cake!
