6 Years, Happy Anniversary T

It’s our wedding anniversary today! I can’t believe it’s been six years since we said “I do” and created this new family and started our journey in life together!  Some days it seems like 6 years, other days it seems like 16 years, and yet there are days it seems like 6 days!

Our life together is so much better than anything I could have dreamed or imagined!  Our relationship isn’t perfect, our marriage isn’t perfect, but it’s perfect for us!  We work together, being a team on everything we do and that’s probably my most favorite thing about our marriage!  I love T more than I ever thought I possibly could and am overwhelmed with emotions when I think about our life together, with the boys!  My life is more enriched and blessed because of my three favorite guys!  It is the best!  Thank you to T for giving me everything I never knew I needed or wanted!

July 2012 – One month before our 1st anniversary!  T gave me tickets to see Rascal Flatts in concert at the Iowa State Fair…even though he hates country music, he knows I love them!  That’s a good man!

July 2013 – Vacation in Colorado.  We took the boys on our first big family vacation with my dad, step-mom, step-brother, and sister-in-law!  What awesome memories we have!

July 2014 – we had new family pictures taken!  When we got married, I made T promise we’d get new family pictures every other year!  The boys grow and change so fast that I wanted to document it!

July 2015 – Vacation in South Dakota.  We took the boys there with my mom and step-dad!  Again, what amazing memories we have together as a family!

July 2017 – on the Sky Ride at the Iowa State Fair!  It’s a date day for us each year and one that we both look forward to each year!

Here we are 6 years later!  Our hair might have more gray in it, our bodies may have more fat on them, but I know our love is bigger and deeper than either of us could have imagined.  I love you T more than you will ever know and I can’t wait to see what the next 60 bring us!
