Ashley has been in business for almost 2 years now after having a passion for hair since she was very young. She actually started coloring other kids’ hair in middle and high school along with her own. She knew that cosmetology was exactly what she wanted to do for a living. Owning her own salon has always been a dream of hers and with the help of her family she has been able to make that dream come to life!
Cut Loose in a full-service salon in a small community where she offers a wide variety of services including hair coloring, cuts, waxes, pedis, and manis. She also offers gel polish manicures, make-up services, formal hair up-dos, and smoothing treatments. She uses a wide variety of products on her clients depending on their hair needs. It’s her goal to make sure she has something for everyone. Her favorite service to provide clients is makeup.
Not only is Cut Loose a hair and nail salon, it’s also a tanning salon with different level tanning beds, red light therapy, and spray tans! And don’t forget she’s also a dry cleaning drop off. What might surprise you the most about Ashley and her salon is that she has owned her own business since she was 21!
Being a business owner in Hampton has come with lots of benefits for Ashley, but the thing she likes most is that everybody is like family! She knows a lot of people from seeing them around town, so there’s never an awkward moment. And Hampton isn’t the only part of the area that has benefits. She enjoys owning a business in Franklin County because the surrounding towns are a lot like Hampton!
So, what are Ashley’s hopes and dreams for her salon in the future? She would love to grow it into a full-scale salon with multiple stylists, a massage therapist, and a nail tech! She has tons of planning that has to go into that, but she knows it would be amazing to be a part of!
