Welcome as I look at where things are right now, in our lives! Thanksgiving is over! I had 4 days straight with my guys and I couldn’t have been happier in those 4 days! I am so blessed! We’re now in the spring to Christmas!
I’m sure you’ve noticed that there’s been a significant absence of me here on the blog. I’m back at that point where I feel like I’m drowning in life! Anyone else feeling that right now?! So, I thought I’d just give you a bit of an update of where things in our house and life is:
Our Life
Right now…I’m in the midst of another round of the 21-Day Fix! I was happy with the results the first time and haven’t really been eating “clean” the last several months and decided that right before Christmas was a good time to start! Check out how I feel about it, HERE!
Right now…R has started basketball season (last night) and we’re now at basketball games for about 4 hours two days a week.
Right now…there is a load of laundry waiting for me to move it to the dryer!
Right now…I have a Norwex party this weekend and I’m thinking about how I should prepare for it, but just want to sleep!
Right now…I’m checking off all items in my head for tacos for supper tonight and ignoring the fact that I’ve probably fed them to my family 3 times in the last month! (I mean, they like them so it’s ok, right?!)
Right now…I have about 4-5 Christmas presents to buy, but have no idea when or how I’ll get those taken care of.
Right now…I just want to sleep. I’m so tired from being up late because of basketball games! I’m a person who goes to bed around 9 every night…going to bed at 11 last night just doesn’t agree with me!
Right now…life is good. Actually, life is wonderful! My three guys are all healthy, I’m healthy, my extended family is healthy! We are so blessed.
Right now…I focus on the time with those who mean the most me! A lot of basketball games means a lot of car-ride time with my favorite guy (T) and my parents! Those basketball games means cheering and watching R do something he loves!
Right now…I anticipate Christmas celebrations. While there are many of them and I’m always exhausted when they are over, I truly do cherish the time with our families!
Right now…I’m loving the classes I’m taking from Jennifer Gruelke Studio in Hampton! Leaving running due to an injury was rough at first, but now…thanks to Jennifer, I’ve found classes that I love and that are getting me in the best shape of my life!
Right now…coming home (no matter the hour or for however short the time is) is all about my 3 guys and Nike!
So…that’s where we are right now! It’s been crazy, but amazing all at the same time! I appreciate your patience in all this and promise that some day there will be new recipes and adventures from our family! :-*
Have a fun holiday season and on the bright side you have a bleacher to sit in to watch those basketball games. Have fun!
So true! I wouldn’t trade all those basketball games for anything!!
You have so much going on – happy that so much of it is fun, happy things:) Your story of making tacos a lot makes me smile. When you are tired and busy, you reach for those go-to recipes. We eat a lot of scrambled eggs:)
Thanks Jeni! It is true! If all else fails, it’s tacos in our house!
