I know I’ve missed a few weeks, but I’m feeling a little more on top of my game this week, so I thought I’d throw one of these in! I hope you enjoy learning just a bit more about me!
When was the last time you sat on a park or garden bench for more than ten minutes? Describe the occasion. We have a fantastic pergola in our backyard by our garden and it is normal for T and I to sit back there after weeding or picking our produce and just visit or listen to the birds, enjoy the weather, etc. While it isn’t exactly gardening weather here yet (it sleeted and snowed last night)..a couple weekends ago it was sunny and warm and we actually sat back there for awhile!
Would you ever be interested in observing a surgery or do you turn away when the nurse brings out the needle? I don’t turn away when the nurse brings out the needle and never have, but I also don’t have any desire to observe a surgery!
Where’s your favorite place to take out-of-town guests? Oh gosh! I guess it depends. We don’t have a ton of options and very few touristy things in my small (4000 people) town, but…if they had never been to town before, I
would probably take them to Beeds Lake State Park and especially to see the spillway. If it were the right time of year, I would take them to our county fair, which is pretty dang good. Things to eat…they would need to experience donuts from Korner Bakery! And, I’d probably take them to Pakoda’s Steakhouse where I waitressed for three years because its close to my heart (for obvious reasons).
If you had an unlimited shopping spree at only one store, which one would you choose? Why? Probably Kohls! You can get home goods as well as clothing there…I could get a lot of updated items for our house, plus clothe my entire family, so I feel as though it would be the best use of my dollar…plus, I love that store!
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m very grateful for the weekend with my boys. We all went shopping together on Saturday night (a new baseball glove was needed) and out for supper! I’m so lucky to get not one handsome date for dinner, but 3!! I’m very much looking forward to my massage tonight by my favorite therapist, Kelsey at Panache Salon!
